Pissed offffff~~~~

Let's start with why I'm pissed off. Mayor Booker and everybody that wants Newark Nj to be a better community and to produce things to attract people to this city have a BIG task in front of them. They want outsiders to come in and bring some life into Newark but there's already annual events that should be shined and polished before they go and hand over big bucks to foreign merchants on "having fun" in the city of Newark. This being the third time that I've tried to get info about events in Newark on the crappy websites they call City of Newark and GoNewark.com. What the hell do these websites actually do. They have never helped me with any information on the city of Newark EVER.

Now the two pictures above are the only things I see when I google or yahoo about the Festival on Bergen Street in Newark. What little info I have I will share with you but please go to these websites and complain about how poorly their information is lacking and/or outdated.

From The Bergen Street Merchants Association, Inc. (who is half of the force responsible for the event, the other half being the city of Newark) website- http://www.bsmainc.org/ I got the two pics above which were for last year. Nothing about this year's events or even a date of when it is.

Now what I know thanks to Young Bizz (who will be there with 3bg performing) is that the Bergen Street Festival aka The Annual South Ward African American Festival will be held on Saturday August 18th, beyond that I have no clue. If you have info please let me know
