Every designer is aiming to dress Michelle Obama for the upcoming Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2009. Big guns like Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel), Badgley Mischka, Betsey Johnson, Carolina Herrera, Chado Ralph Rucci, Christian Lacroix, Diane von Furstenberg, Isaac Mizrahi, Koi Suwannagate, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Monique Lhuillier, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Som, Rachel Roy, Rodarte, Tracy Reese, Tuleh, Zac Posen and Zero + Maria Cornejo are some of the designers that sent WWD sketches and I can imagine the famous ones who didn't.
