Four years ago, Marc Ecko Enterprises (“MEE”) launched the G-UNIT clothing line as a joint venture with 50 Cent. MEE is proud of what it accomplished since inception of the brand, but a decision has been made to explore transitioning this brand to a different apparel company in the coming months. Consistent with current industry-wide practice, there has been a consolidation in staffing within MEE and its G-UNIT division. Having merged specific functions, MEE will continue to sell and distribute the G-UNIT line, support the brand, and service its customer base. This will enable a smooth and seamless transition of the clothing brand in the event 50 Cent finds a new partner. Additionally, within MEE’s celebrity-brand division, a number of new and exciting partnerships are currently under negotiation, and are expected to be announced in the coming months. These initiatives, among other exciting ventures within the organization, will fuel the continued growth and success of MEE.
That was straight from the
rhino's mouth so.... there you have it. I guess URBAN is going out of style in the pop market. I bet any amount of $$$ that Ecko is looking for a skate boarder to help out the zoo york label now. News flash- being white is cool again for white kids. hahahahaha
