Among the best known videogame systems of all time, the VCS 2600 created a worldwide buzz, started the boom for Atari and the whole market, and was released in countless, often only slightly different edition and (piracy) clones. A huge library and an almost monopol made videogames finally big in every living room, before the market suffered its first huge crash.
