On March 31, the illustrious Jonathan Levine Gallery hosted a great art event in New York City - Aerodynamics for Psychonauts, a new solo exhibition by San Francisco artist Mars-1. The exhibition features nearly a dozen new, large-scale works in acrylic and gouache that focus on bringing intangible realms into forms of existence. In addition to the new paintings, the artist also created a wall mural and sculptural installation for the event. Take a look at these great pics from the show, featuring all of the new work and a couple of crowd shots too. Unfortunately we don't have any shots of Desperate, Rejected and Angry, a new solo show by Dalek, which opened in the adjacent gallery the same night. Events like this make me wish I still lived in New York!
